Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Fill a saucepan with water and add vinegar. Bring to a gentle simmer. Crack eggs into ramekins and slide into water to poach for 3 minutes.
  3. Use a slotted spoon to lift poached eggs out. Place on paper towel to absorb excess moisture.
  4. In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in Aleppo pepper and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Spread a layer of herbed yogurt in shallow bowls, place a poached egg on top, and drizzle spiced butter over.
  6. Serve immediately with warm pita or crusty bread.
