Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients until well combined.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it.
  4. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is tender.
  5. For a thicker sauce, remove chicken and stir a cornstarch slurry into the sauce.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions and serve over jasmine rice.
