  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Thyme fresh recommended
  • 1 cup Gruyère Cheese grated

Preparation Steps
  1. Caramelize the onions by slicing them thinly and cooking in a skillet over medium heat with olive oil for about 30 minutes until golden.
  2. Add sherry and let it evaporate to enhance the onion's flavor.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and thyme, then stir and add sliced mushrooms. Sauté for 8-10 minutes until tender.
  4. Prepare the puff pastry by thawing it and rolling it out on a floured surface, then transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the caramelized onion and mushroom mixture over the pastry, leaving a border, and sprinkle with Gruyère cheese.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes, slice, and serve warm garnished with fresh herbs.
