  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese or Monterey Jack as substitute
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley for garnish, optional

Instructions for Queso Baked Chicken
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange chicken breasts in a baking dish and season with chili powder, cumin, and salt.
  3. Layer half of the diced tomatoes and green chiles over the chicken.
  4. Spread the chile con queso sauce over the layered chicken and vegetables.
  5. Top with the remaining diced tomatoes and green chiles.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
