- Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Press the shortcrust pastry into the tart pan and prick the base. Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together cottage cheese, egg, grated Parmigiano, and salt until smooth.
- Peel and slice the pearl onions, then brush with olive oil on one side.
- Once the crust is baked, pour the filling into the crust and arrange the onions on top.
- Sprinkle black pepper over the onions and bake for an additional 30 to 35 minutes until set and golden.
