- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all your ingredients.
- In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, almond flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk well. Add non-dairy milk, vegan yogurt, and almond extract. Stir until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk vegan cream cheese, a touch of sugar, and almond extract until blended.
- Grease a springform pan, and pour half the batter. Add cream cheese filling and cover with remaining batter.
- Mix remaining flour, sugar, and sliced almonds for the topping. Sprinkle over the batter.
- Bake for approximately 70 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow cooling in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then run a knife around the edge and remove the springform.
- Once fully cooled, slice and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve with coffee or tea.
