- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your cake pans by greasing them with butter and dusting with flour.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth, then incorporate with dry mixture carefully.
- Divide the batter into three bowls. Add melted chocolate to one, pureed strawberries to another, and leave the third plain.
- Pour each flavored batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Place the chocolate layer on a plate and spread cream cheese frosting on top.
- Stack the strawberry layer on top of the chocolate and frost as well, then add the vanilla layer.
- Cover the entire cake with the remaining frosting and garnish as desired.
