Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pour 4 cups of filtered water into a pot and bring it to a rolling boil.
  2. Remove the pot from heat and stir in the dried hibiscus flowers. Let steep for about 10 minutes.
  3. Pour the tea through a fine-mesh sieve to separate the hibiscus flowers from the liquid.
  4. While the tea is still warm, add sugar to taste and stir until dissolved.
  5. Squeeze in fresh lime juice and stir well.
  6. Add 2 cups of cold water to the brewed tea and stir until mixed.
  7. Dice your ripe mango and blend until smooth, then stir the mango puree into the tea.
  8. Transfer the tea to a pitcher and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  9. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the tea over the ice before serving.
  10. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
