Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, grated ginger, green onions, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal parts and shape each into ¾-inch thick patties. Allow them to rest for about 5 minutes.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the Thai sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, and any leftover minced garlic over medium-low heat until it thickens slightly.
  4. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and lightly grease it. Sear the patties for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  5. Brush the sweet chili glaze over each burger on both sides and cook for an additional minute per side.
  6. Assemble the burgers with toasted buns, lettuce, a glazed turkey patty, shredded carrots, cucumber ribbons, and cilantro.
  7. Serve immediately while warm, optionally alongside jasmine rice or a fresh salad.
