- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted creamy peanut butter, sugar, mashed ripe bananas, vegetable oil, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract to the wet mixture. Stir well and then fold in the all-purpose flour until no dry spots remain.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Optionally, arrange banana slices on top.
- Bake for approximately 55 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for about 20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Melt additional creamy peanut butter in the microwave and drizzle over cooled bread.
