  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted creamy peanut butter, sugar, mashed ripe bananas, vegetable oil, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Add cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract to the wet mixture. Stir well and then fold in the all-purpose flour until no dry spots remain.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Optionally, arrange banana slices on top.
  5. Bake for approximately 55 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool in the pan for about 20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
