Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C), placing a pizza stone inside for at least 30 minutes.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a round shape, aiming for a 12-inch diameter.
  3. Spread a generous layer of tomato sauce over the rolled-out dough, leaving a ½-inch border.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, then arrange pepperoni slices on top.
  5. Dollop generous spoonfuls of ricotta cheese throughout the pizza.
  6. Transfer the assembled pizza onto the preheated pizza stone and bake for 8–12 minutes.
  7. Once out of the oven, drizzle hot honey over the pizza and add fresh basil and red pepper flakes if desired.
  8. Slice using a pizza cutter and serve warm.
