Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Sauté the Base: In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add 1 pound of ground beef and 1 diced yellow onion. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Add Garlic: Stir in 3 minced garlic cloves and sauté for an additional minute.
  3. Incorporate Flour: Sprinkle 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour over the mixture and stir constantly for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add Chicken Broth: Pour in 4 cups of chicken broth while stirring and bring to a gentle simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix in Cream and Seasoning: Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream, salt, pepper, onion powder, 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning, and 1 teaspoon of paprika.
  6. Add Carrots and Macaroni: Fold in 1 cup of matchstick carrots and 2 cups of uncooked macaroni noodles. Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
