Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Start by washing the romaine lettuce under cold water and then chop it into bite-sized pieces; this ensures maximum freshness.
  2. Rinse medium-sized, bright red strawberries and slice them evenly to showcase their vibrant color.
  3. Roughly chop dried cranberries and pecans, which will add delightful texture. Keep these prepped ingredients ready in separate bowls for easy assembly.
  4. In a large salad bowl, layer the chopped romaine as the base. Then, gently add in the sliced strawberries, dried cranberries, and toasted pecans, followed by crumbled feta cheese.
  5. Using a food processor, combine high-quality extra-virgin olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and maple syrup. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Blend all the ingredients on medium speed for about 30 seconds until the dressing is smooth and well-emulsified.
  6. Just before serving, drizzle the freshly made dressing over the top of the salad and gently toss the ingredients together with salad tongs.
  7. Serve the salad immediately for the best experience, presenting it on a beautiful platter.
