Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease your 8x8 inch baking dish with a layer of non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Press half of the sugar cookie dough evenly into the baking dish.
  4. Place around 8 assorted Peeps on top of the pressed dough.
  5. Break the remaining cookie dough into small pieces and scatter over the Peeps.
  6. Bake for about 8 minutes or until lightly set.
  7. Swirl the softened Peeps gently using a greased spatula.
  8. Continue baking for another 12 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow the bars to cool completely at room temperature.
  10. Chill the bars in the refrigerator for about one hour.
  11. Slice the chilled bars into squares using a butter knife sprayed with cooking spray.
