- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease your 8x8 inch baking dish with a layer of non-stick cooking spray.
- Press half of the sugar cookie dough evenly into the baking dish.
- Place around 8 assorted Peeps on top of the pressed dough.
- Break the remaining cookie dough into small pieces and scatter over the Peeps.
- Bake for about 8 minutes or until lightly set.
- Swirl the softened Peeps gently using a greased spatula.
- Continue baking for another 12 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow the bars to cool completely at room temperature.
- Chill the bars in the refrigerator for about one hour.
- Slice the chilled bars into squares using a butter knife sprayed with cooking spray.
