  • 1 package Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough Can be substituted with homemade sugar cookie dough.
For the Marshmallow Layer
  • 8 Peeps Any spring colors.
For Preparation
  • 1 can Non-Stick Cooking Spray Alternatively, parchment paper works.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Press half of the sugar cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Arrange about 8 Peeps evenly over the pressed sugar cookie dough.
  5. Scatter remaining sugar cookie dough over the Peeps.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes.
  7. Swirl the softened Peeps gently with a spatula after initial baking.
  8. Return to oven and bake for an additional 12 minutes until golden.
  9. Cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for 1 hour.
  10. Slice with a sprayed butter knife and serve.
