Step-by-Step Instructions for Dill Pickle and Garlic Pizza
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine instant yeast with warm water and let it rest for 5 minutes until frothy. Stir in olive oil, salt, sugar, flour, and chopped dill until a dough forms. Knead the dough for 1-2 minutes, then cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk while whisking, season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then stir in Parmesan until melted.
  4. Roll out the rested dough to a 12-inch circle and place it on an oiled pizza pan. Spread white sauce over the dough, leaving a small border. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and arrange dill pickle slices on top.
  5. Bake the assembled pizza for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.
  6. In a small bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic, and dill pickle juice until combined.
  7. Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool slightly, then garnish with fresh dill and crushed red pepper. Serve hot with creamy garlic sauce on the side.
