Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to a sizzling 475°F-500°F (245°C-260°C). If using a pizza stone, place it inside while the oven heats.
  2. Allow the pizza dough to rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes. Stretch and shape the dough on a floured surface.
  3. Spread a layer of ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan.
  4. Drape slices of beef prosciutto over the cheese layer and sprinkle with fresh oregano leaves.
  5. In a small bowl, mix honey with cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, and balsamic vinegar until smooth.
  6. Transfer the pizza onto the hot pizza stone and bake for 8-12 minutes, watching for a golden brown crust.
  7. Drizzle the hot honey mixture over the pizza immediately after removing it from the oven.
  8. Allow the pizza to rest for 1-2 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
