Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
- Mix in the pure maple syrup until well incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Form tablespoons of dough and place them on baking sheets, leaving space for spreading. Optionally top with nuts or chocolate chips.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and tops appear set. Let cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
