Method
 

Preparation

  3. Gently fold in the diced pear.

  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, flatten into a disc, and cut into wedges.
  6. Chill the wedges on a parchment-lined baking sheet in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C), brush scones with heavy cream, and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. For the glaze, mix confectioners' sugar, cinnamon, and heavy cream until smooth, drizzle over cooled scones.
