- Heat a drizzle of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs and sear them for about 5–7 minutes on each side.

- Return the seared chicken to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook uncovered for 10–15 minutes.
- Stir in freshly chopped cilantro and allow it to simmer for an additional minute before removing from heat.
