  • 2 cups Fresh Cucumbers Diced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Halved
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion Finely chopped
  • 4 slices Cooked Bacon Crispy, crumbled
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or variants like mozzarella
For the Dressing
  • 1/2 cup Ranch Dressing Preferably yogurt-based for a lighter option
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Dill Chopped, can substitute dried
  • to taste Salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash cucumbers and cherry tomatoes under cool running water. Dice the cucumbers and halve the tomatoes.
  2. Finely chop the red onion and set aside.
  3. If using raw bacon, fry in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown. Allow to cool and chop into small pieces.
  4. In a large bowl, combine diced cucumbers, halved tomatoes, and chopped onion. Stir gently.
  5. Fold in crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
  6. Pour ranch dressing over the mixture and add chopped dill. Stir to coat evenly.
  7. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste and mix.
  8. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  9. Before serving, toss gently to redistribute ingredients and dressing.
