Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Press the tofu between kitchen towels for at least 15 minutes to extract moisture.
  2. Slice the tofu into 1-inch cubes and toss them in cornstarch.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Flip the tofu and cook for another 3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove tofu from the pan and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, sauté bell peppers and onion over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  7. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 30 seconds.
  8. Toss pineapple chunks into the pan, cooking for 2-3 minutes until caramelized.
  9. Pour in the sauce mixture and return the crispy tofu to the pan, stirring for 2 minutes.
