  • 1 tsp Salt
For the Spice Mix
  • 1 tsp White Pepper Powder Black pepper as substitute
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Five-Spice Powder Optional
For Garnish
  • 1 cup Basil (sliced) or Nori Sheets
  • 1 lemon Lemon Wedges
  • 1 cup Sliced Hot Peppers

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate the Chicken: Combine chicken thighs with marinade ingredients. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Spice Mix: Combine white pepper powder, additional salt, and five-spice powder.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Add cornstarch to marinated chicken and mix well for even coating.
  4. Arrange in the Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer, place chicken in a single layer, and spray with oil.
  5. Cook the Chicken: Air fry at 350°F for 10 minutes, then flip and cook at 400°F for 5 minutes.
