Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by microwaving your frozen pearl onions for about 2 minutes. Drain and dry thoroughly with a towel.
  2. Prepare two bowls: beat an egg in one and mix flour, paprika, salt, pepper, cayenne, and garlic powder in the other.
  3. Dredge each onion in the flour mixture, dip in egg, then coat again in flour, pressing gently.
  4. Place the coated onions on a tray and chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F for 3 minutes. Arrange onions in the basket, spray with oil, and air fry for 3 minutes. Shake, spray again, and cook for another 3 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately while hot and crispy, accompanied by your favorite dipping sauce.
