Ingredients

For the Smoothie
  • 2 medium Peaches Ripe, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup Yogurt Creamy, dairy or dairy-free
  • 1 cup Almond Milk Can substitute with any milk
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup/Agave Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Optional
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes If using fresh peaches
  • 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds/Flaxseeds Optional for extra nutrition

Equipment

  • Blender

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by selecting ripe, fresh peaches. Peel and chop them into small pieces for easier blending, or if you prefer a colder treat, gather your frozen peaches.
  2. In a blender, add the chopped peaches along with your chosen yogurt and almond milk. Pour in a drizzle of maple syrup or agave for sweetness, and consider adding a splash of vanilla extract for flavor. If using fresh peaches, add a handful of ice cubes to chill the smoothie.
  3. Secure the blender lid and blend on high for about 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is velvety and smooth. Keep an eye on the sides of the blender, scraping any ingredients down as needed.
  4. Once blended, pause to taste your smoothie. If you desire a sweeter note, add a bit more maple syrup or agave and blend briefly to incorporate.
  5. Pour your luscious smoothie into a glass, and consider garnishing with a slice of peach or a sprinkle of chia seeds for added flair.
