Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and cut cod into 1-inch pieces.
  2. Melt butter, add onion and garlic, sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Stir in corn starch, then whisk in mustard and wine until smooth. Gradually add milk, whisk until thickened.
  4. Mix in half of the Parmesan and all cheddar, season with savory, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour cheese sauce over cod pieces, ensuring they are fully coated.
  6. Top with remaining cheddar, Parmesan, and crushed potato chips.
  7. Bake uncovered for 35-50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool a few minutes before serving.
