Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 can Canned Refrigerator Pizza Dough Homemade dough can be used for personal touch.
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash; can substitute with milk.
Filling
  • 6-7 sticks Mozzarella Cheese Can substitute with cheese pearls or cheddar.
  • 3 tablespoons Butter Melted for richness.
  • 1 clove Grated Garlic Can use garlic powder (1/4 tsp) if necessary.
Seasoning and Topping
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Divided for topping.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Finely chopped.
  • 0.5 tablespoon Fresh Rosemary Finely chopped; can omit if desired.
  • 0.5 tablespoon Fresh Basil Finely chopped.
Serving
  • 1 cup Marinara/Pesto Sauce For dipping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the canned pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into 30 equal squares.
  3. Slice mozzarella cheese sticks into roughly 30 pieces, about 1 inch long.
  4. Place a mozzarella piece in the center of each dough square, fold over and seal tightly.
  5. Arrange the dough balls on the baking sheet to form a Christmas tree shape.
  6. Whisk the egg and water together for egg wash and brush it on the dough balls.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 16-18 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Melt butter and stir in half of the grated Parmesan, garlic, parsley, rosemary, and basil.
  9. Brush the baked bread with the herb garlic butter and sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
  10. Serve immediately with marinara or pesto sauce for dipping.
