Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a pizza pan or skillet with unsalted butter or oil.
  2. Combine the thawed and dried hash browns with melted butter, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Press the hash brown mixture evenly into the prepared pizza pan or skillet.
  4. Bake the crust for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the crust from the oven and add shredded cheddar cheese, sausage or bacon, bell pepper, and green onions.
  6. Form shallow wells in the toppings and crack an egg into each well.
  7. Sprinkle paprika, salt, and pepper over the eggs.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 to 12 minutes until eggs are set.
  9. Let cool for 3 minutes before slicing and serving warm.
