  • 1/2 cup Water

  • 1 inch Ginger Minced
  • 1 medium White Onion Thinly sliced
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper Thinly sliced

Cooking Steps
  1. Marinate the chicken by tossing it with vegetable oil and salt in a mixing bowl. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated chicken pieces and stir well until thoroughly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 450°F (230°C) and arrange the marinated chicken in the basket without overlapping.
  4. Cook the chicken for approximately 8 minutes, then flip each piece and cook for an additional 5 to 6 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While the chicken cools, whisk together the sauce ingredients in a bowl until smooth and sugar is dissolved.
  6. In a skillet, heat peanut oil and sauté minced garlic and ginger for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Add sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet, cooking for about 3 minutes until slightly tender.
  8. Pour in the prepared sauce and simmer until thickened, then incorporate the cooked chicken and stir gently.
  9. Serve the mixture on a platter, pairing with steamed rice or your favorite side dish.
